List Building The Safe Way
Any On line marketer who is serious about being a success through the internet needs to be building an email list. If you are not working on building an email list then you are going to be leaving a lot of money on the table
Two of the most popular ways to get subscribers are Giveaway events and Add swaps.
Giveaway events are when a group of marketers get together and all donate gifts and products to give away. They then market this free giveaway to all of their email lists.
Marketers and everyone else then have a possible opportunity to get hold of a huge selection of ebooks, guides, and training courses free. All they need to do is just enter their name and email address to obtain these free gifts.
This can be a good way to start building your list as there are plenty of places via the internet where you can get free products which you could donate to these give away’s, and become a contributor to the event.
By being a contributor it means that anybody that downloads your item will give you their email address and name.
Taking part in the right give away event could possibly get you a large number of subscriber in an extremely short space of time. These events take place regularly all over the internet, and one of the easiest ways to search for a giveaway event is to do a search using Google.
Add Swaps
Once you have even a tiny list you can start to take part in add swaps. Add swaps are where two online marketers who are e in a similar niche or market agree to swap adds with each other.
What happens is that each of the marketers offers a free gift for anybody that signs up to their list. They then email each of the people on their lists promoting the other marketers free gift, and telling them where they need to go to obtain the gift.
To get the free gift they then need to enter their name and email address in to a form which adds their particulars to that marketers email list. By doing an add swap it is possible to gain a huge number of subscribers in just a couple of days
For me add swaps is an ideal way of gaining new subscribers and on one occasion just doing one add swap gave me 112 new subscribers in just one day!
The only draw back to doing add swaps is that now and again you will arrange a swap with someone that is not playing straight with you. They may tell you that they have a large email list and that their list is very responsive.
Come the day of the add swap you log in to your autoresponder all eager to see how any subscribers you have got to find you have had no subscribers at all. Once that happens though there’s not a lot you can do about this since you fail to realise until after the event has happened that you have been scammed.
Hopefully that may be a thing of the past though, as a well known marketer, Paul Lynch, has just set up Elite Click Swaps
This is a Free site and to join you have to send an email to your list with a tracking code in it and Elite Click Swaps then verifies the amount of people in your list that clicked on the email. This figure is then placed along side your membership name so everyone can see how responsive your list is.
